The Santoku's hollow edge breaks the friction at the cutting edge to ease slicing, plus it allows air between the blade and the food being sliced to prevent food from sticking to the blade. The knife's classic, synthetic handle provides a full tang and three tubular compression rivets for long-lasting durability. Made in Germany, the 7-inch hollow-edge Santoku knife measures 11-3/4 by 1/4 by 1-1/4 inches and carries a limited lifetime warranty.
